Terms of Service for Options Terminal

Options Terminal is operated by Precision Decision LLC. By accessing or using Options Terminal, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your location, whichever is higher, to use Options Terminal.

Description of the Service

Options Terminal provides options research, scanner workspaces, event-analysis tools, earnings workflows, watchlists, charts, alerts, symbol detail views, and related informational decision-support features.

Current scanner workflows include Earnings Plays and Event Plays. Earnings Plays use the existing earnings scanner workflow. Event Plays use the app's event registry, event contract resolver, and event-analysis engines for supported public non-earnings events.

Options Terminal does not provide brokerage services, clearing, custody, trade execution, asset management, money transmission, or personalized investment advice.

Informational Use Only

Options Terminal is provided for educational, research, and informational use only. Scanner outputs, scores, classifications, reason codes, evidence sections, watch states, implied moves, contract candidates, trigger levels, support levels, resistance levels, and invalidation levels are analytical outputs, not instructions or recommendations to buy, sell, hold, open, close, or modify any security, option, spread, or other financial position.

You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any information from Options Terminal is accurate, current, complete, suitable, and appropriate for your objectives, account type, financial condition, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and trading experience.

No Investment, Legal, Tax, or Accounting Advice

Precision Decision LLC does not provide personalized investment advice, securities recommendations, portfolio management, position-sizing guidance, tax advice, legal advice, or accounting advice through Options Terminal.

You should consult qualified professionals before making financial, legal, tax, or accounting decisions.

No Brokerage or Trading Services

Options Terminal does not place trades, route orders, custody assets, clear trades, maintain brokerage accounts, handle customer funds, or manage assets. You are responsible for any brokerage account, order, transaction, position, tax consequence, or investment decision outside Options Terminal.

Accounts and Security

You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, device, sign-in method, and credentials. You may not share access, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, bypass access controls, or misuse authentication flows.

If you delete your account, the account-deletion behavior is described in the Account Deletion page and Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and Paid Access

The app may display free, subscription, and lifetime-access tiers. As of this update, the reviewed app code supports entitlement states and usage limits, but in-app purchase, restore, cancel, and lifetime-purchase controls are currently placeholders and do not complete payment or grant paid access by themselves.

If paid subscriptions or purchases are enabled through an app store or payment processor, the price, duration, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, and billing terms shown in the purchase flow or by that provider will govern the purchase. Precision Decision LLC may change displayed plans, prices, limits, and included features prospectively.

Paid access, if enabled, does not guarantee any trading result, investment result, return, availability of any market opportunity, or accuracy of any data source.

Market Data and Source Data

Market data, option-chain data, earnings data, stock-news data, and event-source data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, stale, inaccurate, revised, or subject to provider outages and errors. Public or official event-source records may be updated, corrected, postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled.

The reviewed app code uses Yahoo Finance/yfinance paths for market, price, expiration, and option-chain data; Nasdaq earnings calendar paths and local stored earnings data for earnings-calendar workflows; Finnhub company-news paths when configured for stock-news features; and official or public event-source adapters for supported non-earnings events.

Supported official event data sources include SEC EDGAR, FDA advisory committee pages, ClinicalTrials.gov, Federal Reserve FOMC calendars, BLS calendars, and BEA release-date data. These sources do not endorse Options Terminal, Precision Decision LLC, or any output produced by the app.

You are responsible for verifying all information through independent sources before relying on it.

User Submissions

If you submit feedback, recommendations, bug reports, support messages, symbols, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit that content. You grant Precision Decision LLC permission to use, store, review, and act on those submissions to operate, support, improve, and protect the service.

Do not submit confidential, unlawful, infringing, abusive, misleading, or sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the request.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Options Terminal lawfully and responsibly. You may not:

• scrape, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its outputs without permission;
• reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service;
• bypass security, entitlement, rate-limit, or access controls;
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or source providers;
• use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity;
• misrepresent Options Terminal outputs as personalized investment advice or guaranteed results.

Intellectual Property

Options Terminal, including its software, interface, design, text, branding, analytics, scanner logic, and related materials, is owned by Precision Decision LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the service or its underlying technology.

Availability and Changes

Options Terminal may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, technical failures, data-source changes, security issues, or other causes.

Precision Decision LLC may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new Last updated date.

Termination

Precision Decision LLC may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create security or operational risk, or if continued access is no longer commercially, technically, or legally practical.

No Warranties

Options Terminal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or suitability for trading or investment decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Precision Decision LLC will not be liable for trading losses, investment losses, lost profits, data errors, missed opportunities, service interruptions, provider outages, indirect damages, consequential damages, or decisions made using or relying on Options Terminal.
